The major programms are Tornado, Eurofighter 2000, Attack Helicopter Tiger (PAH-2), NATO-Helicopter NH-90 and the Future Large Aircraft (FLA). The open day celebrating the 45th anniversary of the WTD 61 offered not only a fascinating flying display but also many interesting exhibitions on the ground, showing the work of the WTD 61. The star of the day was undoubtedly the F-4F Phantom of the WTD 61 presented in a special painting. The formation flights in their very unique combination with F-4F Phantom, Eurofighter und Mig-29 were another highlight. Finally the clear blue bavarian sky made this day at the WTD 61 Manching a full success. |
