Info Box
The Pima Air and Space Museum is located next to the Aerospace Maintenance and Recovery Center (AMARC) at Davis Monthan Airforce Base, in Tucson, Arizona. During a vacation trip to the USA, I took the chance to visit this superb museum.

The Pima Air & Space Museum (PASM) features over 250 aircraft on display and has five large hangars totaling 100,000 square feet of exhibit space. If you plan to go there take yourself at least 3 hours to see the most important exhibits. To see everything you could easily spend a whole day at the museum. Most of the aircraft are outside the hangars in the burning arizona desert heat. This leaves traces on the aircrafts paintwork, which has to be renewed almost every 5 years.
