VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The shooting demo of the swiss airforce is something you can't compare to any other airshow. Seeing the fighters fly so close to the mountains while shooting to targets that are not more than 250 meters away is absolutely unique. But to see all that, you have to pay a hard price: you must get up early in the morning and hike up the mountain for almost 2 hours through snow, mud and stones to get to the shooting range at an altitude of 7365 ft. If you want to get there, you need good hiking shoes, you have to be well trained and used to hiking in the mountains. Otherwise this is really dangerous! Also there is no guarantee that the event will take place. It is very likely that you hiked up there for nothing, because of bad weather condition. So think twice before you go there !
